OUR STORY BEGINS WITH CAPTAIN ROB !

Captain Rob ! is building a 45ft Viking Ship the hard way. His vessel is to cross the Atlantic ocean and sail down to Key West, Florida. A previous Hollywood stuntman with a lot of history behind him, his new boat project will break world records and retrace some of the old Viking routes of history. Before this popsicle stick boat is launched he tells us the boat is already going into the record books. The boat will help raise money for the Children Foundation.

The Worlds Largest Recycled Boat the Viking Ship (Hammer of Thor) made of 15 million Ice cream sticks by over 5000 school kids is now around three weeks from sea testings for

"The Great Atlantic Adventure" and the Students of the Roc School in Lelystad,Holland (the last school)

Are hard at work and doing a great job! They are the 18th such School in Europe to work of the Viking Ship Thor

-When the Viking Ship is seen again by the public they will see two new safety cabins

Forward & aft of the Viking Ship

Then two 7 foot stow boxes left & right of the mast (Center of the Ship) and 3 new escape doors among many other safety fetchers.

A new great development is the unique co-operation between the Sea Heart Children's Foundation and the Kid Survivors Children's Foundation foundation

Kid Survivors devotes for better futures for handicapped children in homes worldwide.

The Viking ship has gone through some major work to update and safely add to its chance of a great Ocean crossing !

NEWS will now be posted as Captain ROB our buddy sends us updates on the amazing ship's log and world wide voyages to come !

Pictures will be posted later this week of the new boat changes that have been made to upgrade the open boat to a more suitable ocean cruiser !

Other changes are all based on increased stability and safety for the great crossing !

Our Escort Ship will be handling the Viking Ship on its journey in Florida waters and possibly Georgia area for coverage.

US escort Vessel had to be refitted with a new Yamaha EFI 225 outboard engine to help give her the speed she needs and the power to over come any problems.

Here in Florida I am making arrangements for the purchase of an escort vessel. The purchase will be handled by Marine International Parts Group of Florida for a 25ft Trophy cuddy cabin boat with a brand new Yamaha 225hp engine installed with the agreement. Support boat will include the most up to-date electronics on board. At this time the deal is being setup between us and a marine company in Daytona for the out right purchase. In the coming months the boat will be prepared and cleaned for its task to handle request from Mjollnir and crew for supplies and basic water navigation in our coastal waters. Night lights and spare anchor equipment will be on board for the Viking ship if needed. Escort vessel will carry 180gal. fuel tank custom built on board for range, ship to shore radio by ICOM, radar, GPS with map to Laptop overlay is just a few of the electronic items included in the package. A name has not been chosen for the escort vessel but a secondary job will be to assist the American Thunder boat project at water testing time. Further developments are, setting up arrangements for Tow Boat U.S. to assist both ships should the need arise.

Our plan will be to meet up with Mjollnir near or at the state lines of Georgia and Florida ICW waterway to order to assist with guidance in these waters. Further developments may allow a secondary assist vessel to act as escort in Georgia waters to be supplied by Ft. Mc Allister Marina in Georgia, at this time no deal has been struck for the Georgia marina but we have been contacted by a volunteer group with the hope to be able and ready as the Mjollnir nears the coast line. The Richmond Hill Group of Georgia has been alerted to this need and plans are getting set for the vessel which should and will act as escort from South Carolina to the Georgia state line with Florida acting as a relay system to cover the Mjollnir on its course for Saint Augustine, Florida and south to Palm Coast, Florida

Another group in Daytona, Florida is asking now about volunteering to act as escort within their waters, which may help to pick up the relay style escort on this trip.
